My name is Kelvin Barnes and I have been a keen railway modeller for over 40 years and in this time I have produced many layouts and hundreds of models. I started out traditionally but over time have strived to try and do something a little different or off the beaten track as such. I did have my own business making Detailed layouts, detailing locomotives and weathering , when I retired I closed the business down. I have been on the Exhibition circuit for around twenty years. The aim of this site is to share some of my work and to offer a few hints & tips on my methods.
